Summer Art Camps
A Summer of Art 2010
The Art School of Peterborough begins its Summer Program on Monday, July 05. Camps continue throughout the summer. All in 1 week, Art Campers will experience the fun of making their own pottery, learning to draw, painting in a variety of media, creating imaginative projects in mixed media, and creative movement!
Spaces are limited so early registration is recommended.
Cost: $200/week with all art supplies provided.
Caution: Be prepared to have fun & get messy!
Hours: Art Camp hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Week-long Art Camps
Ages 6-12
Sculpture, Drawing, Painting and Pottery. Students bring their own lunch and 2 snacks (no nut products).
Dates: July 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, August 3-6 (4 day camp $160), August 9-13, 16-20
Week-long Pottery Camps
Ages 6-12
Students bring their own lunch and 2 snacks (no nut products).
Dates: July 26 - 30 and August 23 - 27.
"Girl's Only" Camp
Ages 6-10
Sculpture, Drawing, Painting and Air Dry Clay. Making jewellery, hand-made bag/purse, tea party hats and many more projects just for the Girls. Students bring their own lunch and 2 snacks (no nut products).
Dates: July 26-30, August 23-27
Sunday Birthday Parties
Bring the gang to the art school to have your party. We supply the art supplies, fantastic instructors and the space for your group to have a blast. Best of all, we clean up the mess! Cartooning or mixed media projects available. Book early to get your date and time. Pre-payment required when booking.
Cartooning Parties with Jason Wilkins
Partiers will have lessons in creating their own superheroes and cartoon characters. Each guest will pose for their very own caricature to take home and the Guest of Honour will receive a caricature of himself /herself and the group, signed by all the guests.
Mixed Media Birthday Parties with Jenni Johnston
Group instruction will be given on how to use materials differently to create unique pieces, as well as individual help. Everyone will leave with their own individual masterpiece! Projects can also be custom themed to suit the Birthday boy or girl's special interests.
Ages: 6 - 12
Hours: To be negotiated. Parties are 2.5 hours; 1.5 hours of instruction, with the final hour to wrap up your birthday party with cake and gifts (not included).
Cost: $140 for up to twelve children. Each additional child is $13.
