Faculty » Emil Varga
Emil Varga is a Canadian artist whose paintings portray the "Omnipotence of Nature". As you will see through his images, such as the beauty of flowers, the tranquillity of evening sunsets, and visions of Ontario landscapes, he captures this in watercolour and mixed media in a semi-realistic style. He presents these original images as a way of connecting people to nature and community.
Emil brings serenity to his painting by listening to classical music as he paints in his studio. He feels this process helps him to create, making the final image a composition of art and music.
Although Emil did not start painting full time until his retirement, he believes:
""Art, whether it is your hobby or vocation is a journey, not a destination. We are continually evolving, seeing life differently and communicating our life experiences through our art. My message and what my life experience has taught me; study diligently, have confidence in your self, and it's never too late to start your journey."
